Our Story: A Purpose Born from Love

MajiPure began with someone I love.

When my wife was diagnosed with lupus, I wanted to understand more about her condition and find ways to support her. That search led me to learn about alkaline water, explore the claims surrounding its potential benefits, and think more deeply about the water we drink every day.

That experience inspired me to create MajiPure, a Black-owned alkaline water company rooted in Dallas, Texas. What began as a personal search grew into a purpose: to offer water with a story, encourage people to take an interest in their well-being, and contribute something meaningful to my community.

My concern reaches beyond my own family. I think about people living with lupus, cancer, and other serious illnesses—and the families standing beside them. I know the desire to help someone you love, even when you cannot fix everything. That compassion is part of what drives MajiPure.

My own journey has also taught me about resilience. After being wrongfully incarcerated, I chose to keep believing in my future. I want MajiPure to represent that same belief: our circumstances do not erase our potential, and each of us has something valuable to give.

That is why I call MajiPure “The People’s Water.” To me, it represents care, perseverance, and connection. This is my way of trying to help the world where I can—one bottle, one conversation, and one community at a time.
